Discharge silencer

Discharge silencer
Parker Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Parker copper mufflers are used for attenuating sound pressure pulses from the compressor. They have been designed for use in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Normally, the muffler is vertically mounted and flows downward in the discharge line of the compressor. This ensures optimum oil movement. It is possible to add internal baffles for further dissipation of pulsating pressure.

To suit varying system requirements, one-piece copper shells in 3/4", 1-3/16", 1-5/8" and 2" O.D. sizes are available. To simplify installation, sweat connections are available in a range of sizes.
