Bypass switch - CE, RoHS | BYDS Series
The Series BYDS Bypass Damper Switch is utilized to control motorized bypass dampers. The system static pressure rises and falls as individual zone dampers open and close. Proper airflow and static pressure is maintained through the HVAC system by incorporating a bypass system with a floating type motorized damper and a static pressure control.A typical on/off pressure switch is unable to operate in this application. This is because the high cycle rate eventually causes contact burnout. The BYDS static pressure control has a solid-state switching and timing circuit which enhances the operation. It improves the long-term liability in this demanding application.
