The 1689 model, and the 1690 model are manufactured by Bk Precision, and are regulated high-current DC generators that are ideal for use as a substitute to car batteries, and as well as servicing high-power car stereos and camcorders. The models generate at utmost current steadily without overheating. The series have a variable output that ranges from 1 V DC up to 15 V DC, and they generate an output of 28 A at 13.5 V DC. They also have varying DC output terminals, and they operate with an input of 110 V only.
