Pulsed laser diode - SPL PL series
Osram SPL PL series pulsed laser diode are suitable for hand-held Laser Range Finders (LRF) used by golfers, hunters, civil engineers, as well as professional laser sensors for distance measuring, positioning, and protection. SPL PL can also be used in automotive applications such as adaptive cruise control (ACC), pre-crash detection, collision avoidance, adaptive rear lighting, and traffic surveillance (laser speed gun, traffic recording, vehicle classification, distance measurement, and fog detection).
The diodes, suitable for short laser pulses, from 1-100 ns feature optical peak power upto 10 W, laser wavelength 850 nm, laser aperture 200 pm x 2 pm and economical plastic package for high volume applications.
