Filter Wheels are designed for CCD imaging. It contains a set of neutral-density (ND) filters mounted in a single easy-to-use-unit. This unit can be operated manually, controlled remotely, or even though the use of a computer connection. these wheels are metric compatible. The simple design of the model 5215 provides you a wide range of optical densities from 0.08 in 0.1 increments. Each wheel has six 1 in. diameter filters. The filter positions are mechanically indexed for absolute positioning and the filters are made with Inconel metallic coatings on glass substrate.

Three sizes are available 12.7 and 25.4 mm round and 50.8 mm square. A diverse range of wavelength selective coatings are provided by REO for the infrared, visible and ultraviolet. This range includes long wave and short wave pass filters, notch filters, bandpass filters, dichroics, trichroics, harmonic separators and spatially variable components. Ion beam sputtering is particularly used to deliver bandpass and sharp edge filters which have superior wavelength stability. This is in respect to changes in humidity and ambient temperature.

REO provides high transmission filters, very broad passbands and spatially variable films. The highly durable products have exceptional environmental stability. REO offers high out of band blocking.
