The Gamesa 2.0 - 2.5 MB offers a compatible turbine platform with robustness, reliability and suitability for all kinds of sites and wind conditions. It can tolerate the most challenging locations to low and medium wind speed sites. The platform is installed with a capacity to stand 15,000 MW and an average fleet over 98%. The unit has an environmental certification of G90 - 2.0 MW.

The unit is power rated 2.5 MW and a wind class of II A. The rotor diameter is 114 m, swift area is 10,207 sq.m, power density is 24493 W/ sq.m. The unit offers two types of control: Pitch and Variable Speed. It houses a 3 stage gear box, double FED generator, 56m long blades and a tower height of 93m, 120m, 140m or site specific.

The Gamesa technology's new G114 - 2.5 MW wind turbine comes with longer blades and higher nominal capacity of 2.5 MW. It aids in producing more energy at a lower investment per MW and at a lower maintenance cost per MWh produced.
