Current transformer - J3R80B Enerdis

J3R80B current transformers comply with EN 60044 standards and are commonly used with galvanic insulation and applications that supply power to measurement instruments. J3R80B offers an option of a sealable protective cover that can also be removed. These transformers are available in three classes viz. class 0.5, 1, or 3 as per the power required.

They can be installed by either mounting on a side rail or by screwing to the cabinet base. They require primary current from 200A to 1,500A and can utilize a secondary current of 5A or 1A as per custom needs.

The Siemens transformers for permanent loads provide a safety extra low-voltage or SELV for the control circuits supply, switching relays and insta contractors in continuous operatons as an AC voltage or current supply for 8, 12 or 24V AC. Although each unit is able to transform up to 63 VA, the Siemens transformers for extra load contains a PTC resistor that prevents short-circuits or moderate overloads. The PTC resistor must be switch off for about 30 minutes in case of a disconnection. Turning off the resistor allows it to cool down.
