Two models of transient-free static switching units are available. The FTE model is a real-time transient-free system which is utilized to compensate exceptionally rapid loads within one cycle of operation (~5-20 msec). The fast, transient-free system which is utilized to compensate any loads within 3 to 4 seconds is the FTA model.

The units are supplied as either already tuned to absorb the 5th and higher order harmonics or detuned in order to prevent resonance in a system and absorb up to 50% of the 5th harmonic.

These power capacitors are designed to correct the power factor- cos phi- of the power supply unit and filter harmonics at high voltages. They confirm to international standards IEC 871. They are encased in a stainless steel container with porcelain bushings.

Capacitors are available in two fitting versions. The single-phase version comprises of 1/2 bushings and has internal fuses. The three-phase version comprises of three bushings and also has internal fuses. It is directly connected to the network.
