The combined apparatus of EDT SK relies on credible SF6 live tank breaker technology of ED type. Additionally, there is also one centralized compartment per pole having an internal transformer. This is quality circuit breaker that is able to break currents up to 31.5 kA with voltage up to 72.5 kV. These circuit breakers make use of spring drive operating mechanisms for optimal network reliability. This equipment is multifarious and helps in integrating transformer on either pole.
EDT SK reduce space required in the substation, optimizing the cost and the safety factors. The safety of polymeric insulators are not mandatory. There is also an option of earthing switch to be used indoor as well as outdoor.
