The exceptional features of the design of this dead-tank involves having a perceived quality of being created with an interrupter chamber which is accommodated in an earthed-metal housing. Due to this disposition, the live parts of the contact which are assembled from the housing and which has high voltage are being protected by the SF6 gas filling. The interrupter chamber with terminals that have high voltage are connected by outdoor bushings.
