The impulse current shunts in this product series are designed for current measurements on low inductive test objects. The products are primarily used for impulse current measurements on power transformers, being compatible with IEC 60076-3 standards. They can also be used for impulse current measurements, as well as metal-oxide surge arresters, in accordance to IEC 62475 standards.Finally, these items are also available with a rated resistance ranging from 0.1 to 10ohms, as well as a current rating from 100,000 to 50A.
