Fieldbus coupler - 9411/11 series
The Zone 1 Ex e Field Device Couplers are highly recommended for connection of up to 4 or 8 explosion protected (Ex d / Ex m) field devices to a non-intrinsically safe / Ex e field bus (high energy trunk). By current limiting during short-circuits, these couplers prevent a feedback effect from spurs on the trunk. These devices decreases starting and low short-circuit current from the trunk through its power management feature. These devices are specifically designed for FOUNDATIONTM fieldbus H1 and Profibus PA. It has a LED indication displaying faults on each spur and a switchable termination on board.
