This procedure not only achieves a good surfact quality, it also reduces any contamination of the deep drawing dies. The result: longer die service life, increased productivity and reduced costs. The effects of constant cleaning and a consistent amount of residual oil over the entire manufacturing process reduces quality-related downtimes.
Coil washing units from Schuler are modular in construction and can be supplied in a variety of designs. Whether for processing of steel or aluminum, outer skin panels or structural parts, the coil washing unit should be specifically constructed for the application. Thus, for example, coil washing units can be designed to be with height or lateral adjustment to avoid contact between a coil that is not to be cleaned and the washing medium. Modular filter concepts permit the user to adapt the system to the application and to the degree of contamination. Sliding doors on the front side as well as a removable top cover ensure excellent accessibility to all components of the equipment. The ease of maintenance is is further improved by the ability to lift out single pairs of rollers by crane. These then can be remachined and automatically synchronized.
