Board-to-wire connector - 0.1 in, 28 - 22 AWG | MTA-100
Mass wire termination drastically reduces labor involved in cable or harness assembly. The MTA-100 IDC connector system is a wire-to-board and
wire-to-wire system with contacts in a single row on .100 [2.54] centerline.
It provides wire feed-through capability for daisy-chain applications. In order
to remove a variety of conductor sizes it uses insulation displacement contacts
and in cases where the receptacle assembly and strain relief cover are employed,
the ribbon cable can be removed as well. Header assemblies for board mount
applications are provided with right-angle and vertical mount and in through-hole
and surface mount configurations. Connectors and headers are available for
positions 2-28 and shrouded headers for 2-14.
