The MTA-156 IDC connector system provides the lowest applied cost for any board mounted systems. It can be applicable to either a wire-to-board and wire-to-wire system with contacts in a single row on .156 [3.96] centerline. It also terminates the wide range use of conductor sizes such as ribbon cables with the usage of the correct receptacle assembly, strain relief cover and insulation displacement contacts. With its wire feed-through design, it is very capable for daisy chain applications. Standard part of the header assemblies is the right-angle and vertical mounts for board mount applications with through-hole and surface mount configurations.
