Maxon Motor's sensors is well known to have high precision encoders, DC tachometers and resolvers. These state-of-the-art sensors are mounted exclusively on motors with through shafts for resonance reasons. These devices have to be adjusted to the motors at the factory because the installation process is fine-tuned to the motor.
