The S953 is an absolute magnetostrictive linear position sensor that is integrated with measurement range of 25.4 mm to 7629 mm and a linearity percentage of <0/01%. This is capable of resisting a maximum vibration strength of 30 G and is susceptible to shock capacities of 1000G. It is an ideal tool for automation solutions that demand precise feedback of continuous position and is suitable for working areas typically characterized by extreme vibration, temperature and contaminants. It is constructed in accordance to Ingress Protection class 68.
