Safety light curtain - 440L, 445L series
These safety light curtains function using opto-electronic presence sensing mechanisms. They are able to detect an object's presence in the sensing field. The presence of a person's finger, limb, hand or whole body can be detected by this device. Safety light curtains are therefore useful in machine-guarding applications. Optimal safety is provided by these light curtains, also known as active opto-electronic protective devices or AOPDs. Where consistent and simple access to hazardous operational points is required, these devices are highly suitable.
