Linear position sensor / hybrid potentiometer - 25 - 200 mm, IP66 | MLS130
The MLS130 sensor was developed by Penny+Giles as a response to customer demands. Ideal for the motorsport industry, it is a competitively-priced linear displacement sensor. There are eight stroke lengths available, from 25 to 200mm. The sensor is sealed to IP-66 and is supplied with the three-core cable molded into the sensor. The cable is sheathed, thus eliminating the need for the over-sleeving typically required on other sensors. An auxiliary protective sheet is also available for allowing the sensor to withstand extreme weather conditions. Three mounting options are available, which include the M5 metal rod-end bearings at each end. With proven hybrid track technology, the MLS130 has a long track life and can be used for virtually infinite resolutions. There is no need for re-calibration, even in the event of a system power failure, as the sensor is highly precise and reliable.
