The IFM O1D155 Distance sensor class 1 is encased in a sturdy metal casing, with 2 switching outputs having one modifiable to be an analogue output, and a measuring range that is configurable. It offers the productivity of a whole measuring system at the cost of only one standard sensor through the use of the PMD technology. Ideally used for distance measurement in automation technology, the Distance sensor still measures accurately even if the laser does not hit the target at perpendicular levels.
