RVDT displacement sensor - SX27RV
The SX27RV is a rotary variable displacement transducer. The device gives a sinusoidal output which is proportional to the angle on the linear range limit. The position of the rotor influences the magnetic flux when the primary is excited. As a result, the voltage of the two secondaries becomes proportional to the angle of the primary.The position where the secondary outputs become equal is found on the housing and spindle. When the measurement range is lessened, the linearity improves.
The unit consists of an oscillator demodulator signal conditioner. It is compatible with SENSOREX LVDT conditioners. The device also has a safe version in accordance to the ATEX norm.
