The EMA series is a magnetic absolute single rotary encoders produced by elap. This device works according to the magnetic principle which produces a 360 degree sinusoidal magnetic field when the rotation of a permanent magnet is placed on the encoder shaft. The electric circuitry delivers optimum output as it is created to provide excellent vibration and shock resistance. It is characterized to protect itself from oil, dust and plants which make them fit for industrial environments. Supplying 5Vdc or 10/24 Vdc or 5/24 Vdc EMA series consumes 60 mA. This series offer an array of resolution ranging from 4 and 13 bit, binary code,and a 5V SSI serial output. It is housed in an ABS plastic case or a metal case.
