The CONEX-PSD9 Position Sensing Detector represents the best choice for the stabilization of laser beams as well as laser tracking and general beam diagnostics. It delivers highly accurate XY position information of laser beams and, contrary to the quadrant detectors, uses the improved tetra-lateral effect diode that features high linearity over the full size of 9 mm x 9 mm, with a third signal that is directly proportional to the power of the beam. It was designed to offer maximum stability as well as pulsed laser beam compatibility as it features an analog input filter with 319 Hz cut-off frequency for the reduction of noise and unwanted signal ringing.
