The photodiode receiver, manufactured by Sacher Lasertechnik Group, is a quick optical detector. It has a quick photodiode along with a trans-impedance or voltage-to-current amplifier. The device is made to detect small amplitude power changes of laser radiation. It works on wavelengths 400nm - 1100nm for Si Photo Diode and 1000nm - 1800nm for GaAs Photo Diode.
