Laser beam aligner
The MAT/MAR is a laser beam aligner. Its MAT active device transmitter modules enable the straight coupling into fibers terminated with E-2000 connectors. The MAR receivers work the reverse receiving function. These types are specifically constructed to feature a high degree of optical stability over different environment and mechanical-stress conditions. It is designed with robust construction that enables reliable and repeatable operation over 1000cycles of mate/demate. Both these types also offer positive latching mechanism, spring-loaded shutters for eye-safety and compact footprint.
