Electric hardness tester / manual - DynaMIC

DynaMIC hardness tester functions as per the rebound hardness testing method, which has been standardized according to ASTM A956. It uses a patented technique for processing of signal that provides automatic compensation for any testing direction variations. This leads to accurate hardness measurement irrespective of impact direction.

The hardness testing, or positioning for impact devices and reading of hardness value, takes only a few seconds. A proper material and application match is maintained with the help of various impact devices.

The DynaMIC DL Data Logger model allows internal storage of hardness values with statistical data.

DynaMIC allows hardness to be automatically converted to HV, HB, HRC, HRB, HS, HL and N/mm2.

Based on the application, different impact devices are available . For standard usages, Dyna D is ideal. For heavyweight, solid components, Dyna G should be used. For hardness ranging beyond 650HV, Dyna E is suitable.

Indentation hardness tester - TIV

The TIV (Through Indenter Viewing) method is applicable for testing companies using a universal, portable unit. It is also widely used in research institutes, coil manufacturers, and heat treat shops. It is a technique based on hardness testing according to Vickers by means of special optics. It is made up of injection-molded plastics and weighs approximately 1.4 kg (3.1 pounds) including MIC 20-BAT. It is reliable to use since the indentation of the images can be transferred and evaluated automatically, directly, and quickly.

Other features include TIV through special lenses and a CCD camera and direct evaluation and assessment of the quality through observation of the indentation on the screen.

Vickers hardness tester - MIC 20

The MIC 20 is a dynamic two-in-one tester which utilizes both UCI (Ultrasonic Contact Impedance) and rebound test methods (standardized to ASTM A956, A 1038 and DIN 50156, 50159).
The UCI method performs testing on tiny, complex parts that...

Vickers hardness tester - MIC 20

The MIC 20 is a dynamic two-in-one tester which utilizes both UCI (Ultrasonic Contact Impedance) and rebound test methods (standardized to ASTM A956, A 1038 and DIN 50156, 50159).
The UCI method performs testing on tiny, complex parts that consists fine grained metals. Whereas the rebound method is often used for larger, coarse-grained forgings and castings.

The Krautkramer MIC 20 on the other hand is an amalgamation of the quasi-static UCI and the dynamic rebound hardness testing methods. The MIC has introduced a "hardness testing in a twin pack" for your convenience by using two separate method to cover their complete application range.

All these qualities make MIC 20 a globally accepted instrument which can be used to fine-grained materials with different masses and shapes or heat treated surfaces (UCI method). Additionally, you can also test large, coarse-grained components, forgings, and cast materials (rebound method).

Vickers hardness tester / portable - MIC 10

Vickers hardness tester / portable - MIC 10

MIC 10 is known for the convenient and quick on-site hardness testing, which is done according to the UCI method (Ultrasonic Contact Impedance), which is also compatible with the DIN 50156 and ASTM A956 standards. The diamond indent in the surface of the material is measured electronically, being instantly displayed without the use of the cumbersome optical evaluation, which is associated with conventional hardness testers.

With the press of a key, users can easily display a single value, as well as active arithmetical single values of a hardness measurement set. They can also edit erroneous single values without requiring any interruption in terms of the measurement set. The alarm is adjustable and comes with both audible and visual alarms. The calibration measurement parameters on low and non-alloyed steel are pre-programmed into the MIC10, but can be quickly and easily recalibrated to other materials.
