The Parker domnick hunter G8 and G9 dry air generators produce high purity air, which is ideal for spectroscopy applications, by way of their robust and field proven technology.

It aims at transforming the standard compressed air into a safe supply of dry (-73oC) gas which is suitable for ejecting, spinning and lifting on NMR instruments.

The NMR gas generators are also an alternative solution for nitrogen cylinders or dewards with a payback period of less than a year.

Hydrogen generators from Parker are high throughput equipment pieces designed to produce pure-grade hydrogen for fuel and carrier gas requirements. They can produce up to 300ml/min of 99% pure hydrogen gas under a pressure up to 4.1 bars, thereby eliminating the use of dangerous high-pressure hydrogen cylinders from the laboratory.

The hydrogen generator generates hydrogen from deionised water through an electrical supply and supplies it safely to up to 7 FIDs or several GCs with carrier gas and minimal operator involvement. The flow rate and pressure parameters are especially specified and the unit is designed to operate throughout the day. It has been certified by CSA for laboratory use.

Parker Balston's ultra high purity hydrogen generators are designed with the purpose of providing an alternative solution to the high-pressure hydrogen cylinders. These generators are operated by using electrical supply and deionised water, which generates hydrogen by operating continuously for a few weeks. For remote installations or the places where there is minimal operation, additional extra-feed water is available. A single generator has an output capacity of 510ml/min and can supply fuel gas of 99.999% purity for up to 12 FID's or multiple GC's with carrier gas.

The compact design of the generator helps to install it directly in the laboratory by eliminating the requirement of lengthy hydrogen lines. This generator has numerous features such as - capable of producing hydrogen gas of 99.999% purity up to 6.9 bar, it can run up to 24 hours in a day, it has a compact design with reliability and minimal maintenance and has a 2 year warranty. The main feature of this generator is that it eliminates the use of dangerous hydrogen cylinders. It is ideal for fuel as well as carrier gas requirements.

The Parker Balston makes up a gas generator that comes in two options. These are the Zero Grade Nitrogen or the Zero Grade Nitrogen with Zero Grade Air combines in a single housing. Having flow rates up to 400 ml/min of Zero Nitrogen and 2,500 ml/min of Zero Air each unit is able to supply 6 GC-FID’s. This general application allows for the fuel air and gas make for FID as well as other detectors of the GC’s. Make up gas efficiently sweeps the sample to the detector which provides the peaked shape as well as maximizing the sensitivity.

Most of the instruments manufactured by GC are available with the option of adding gas to the sample flow before the detector. Additional features include Improved flame shape within the FID detector and maximised sensitivity, make up grade nitrogen with < 0.05ppm THC, removes dangerous and costly helium or nitrogen cylinders.
