Capsule filter - PGD
PDG capsules are made from composite media filter modules that contain a fiberglass depth media with a final layer of polypropylene depth media to ensure fiber free filtrate. They have maximum holding capacity and provide 99% retention at the rated pore size. These cartridges are used for pre-filter applications and bioburden reduction. Each capsule is tested before shipment for integrity. It supports pre-filtration applications of bulk pharmaceutical chemicals, water, buffers, alcohols and other liquids. In bioburden reduction these capsules are used in LVPs, SVPs, diagnostics, ophthalmic and other final pharmaceutical products.
