Sartorius universal centrifuges are suitable for sedimentation in angle-rotors or swing-out-rotors. Uncooled and cooled universal centrifuges are also available to suit specific needs.

The benchtop centrifuges include maintenance-free imbalance switch and brushless or induction drive motor. Any mixing of the sediment is avoided by the soft-start and soft-stop-mode.
