Laboratory autoclave
Steridium’s pioneering work in the development of steam sterilizers for use in facilities undertaking research into highly contagious viruses, has formed the basis of extremely safe autoclaves for the disposal of medical and laboratory waste. All product to be sterilized is disinfected and viruses destroyed prior to the release of air or vapour from the chamber during the sterilization process.Our unique reverse-flow system ensures that even drain lines are sterilized before release of any contaminants into the drainage system. In some installations, high efficiency filters are also installed in the exhaust line to guarantee the containment of viruses and bacteria within the chamber.
The sterilizers are designed to sterilize both solid and liquid waste, and up to 20 cycles can be pre-programmed to handle any load configuration that might be encountered.
