The new pco.edge 4.2 is a scientific imaging camera. It has distinctive ability that simultaneously combine features like extremely low noise, fast frame rates and a wide dynamic range. The extreme low readout noise of 0.9 e- med is opposite to its high resolution of 2048 x 2048 pixel and dynamic range of 33 000 : 1. It is applicable on the areas like Selective Plane Illumination Microscopy (SPIM).
