The digital FALCON EMCCD camera is associated with highly-sensitive and high resolution features. The camera permits an ideal performance for low light applications such as fluorescence imaging, astronomy, electrophoresis, X-ray and hyperspectral imaging. Also, this product is suitable for adaptive optics and astronomy, in calcium signaling, fluorescence imaging, flow cytometry, and in genome sequencing. This device is designed with a fully-compatible XCAP software from EPIX. Falcon is made adaptable with the Micro-Manager software, and maintains a universal, flexible and free software platform for automated microscopy. The Falcon EM285 has 100 x 1002 EMCCD sensor that enables optimum image resolution in low-light imaging applications. It also allows the high sensitivity imaging with up to 1000x on-chip gain.
