The DS-Fi1c is a high-definition cooled color camera head for brightfield and fluorescence microscope applications. The new camera head from Nikon produces high-resolution 2560x1920 images, aided by its Peltier cooling mechanism, high dynamic range, near-silent operation and high frame rates. Short and long exposure times are also possible, suitable for sensitive samples in a diverse range of applications involved in phase contrast and differential interference contrast (DIC).
