Kistler type 9247A is a pin with longitudinal sensitivity for measurement of strain. It is ideal for optical components. The pin is useful for measuring cavity pressure without any contact. Behind the mold wall, a sensor is screwed. This sensor measures the cavity pressure by determining the compressive strain of the steel.
