Shear strain gauge - 120 - 700 Ω | XY2 - XY4 series
This series of V-shaped strain gauges includes types XY4 and XY2, designed with two measure grids to the SG axis, arranged at an angle of approximately 45 degrees. They are ideal for applications such as torsion bar measurements and in neutral fiber areas in which sheer stresses need to be determined. There is a wide selection of different nominal resistances, including 120 ohms, 350 ohms and 700 ohms, as well as temperature adaptations for shear strain and torsion gauges. Materials include a polyamide-measuring grid carrier and constantan in the measuring grid.
