Biaxial strain gauge - max. 350 Ω | RY series
The HBM have designed and developed special strain gauges to analyze bi-axial stress states with unknown principal strain directions. The RY SERIES boasts 3 measuring grids arranged in a specific angle to accurately provide analysis of stress. This series is ideally used in diagnosing machines and failure analysis. It can also be used as a sensor for heavy duty equipment or devices. It offers different dimensions with nominal resistance and temperature response to different materials like steel or aluminum. It can be customized to suit users requirements. Arranged in a quarter bridge circuit, the RY series is easy to install.
