Ultrasonic area velocity flow meter / open-channel - AVMS 5.1
The AVMS 5.1 from Geryline monitor can flow through a large channel and partially filled pipes. The device is a new multi-sensor area velocity flow meter designed for use in municipal storm water systems, raw sewage, combined effluent and irrigation water setups. The tool offers three ultrasonic sensors that continuously measure the velocity at varying points in the channel, providing the average velocity reading for the flow monitoring. It will calibrate to channels of any shape, and is resistant to fouling and corrosion. In addition, the unit measures forward and reverse flows. These flows include a backlit flow rate display, a totalizer, three 4-20mA outputs and a dual control relays.
