Flow meter turbine with shut off device is a combination of a flow meter and a solenoid valve that automatically delivers a preset quantity of liquids and then shut itself off. This one compact unit is designed to meter accurately a preset volume of liquid with the ability to hinder the flow. The servo controlled valve is connected to the main supply in which it shuns off the water hammer. This unit can be used for measuring feed control as it guarantees accurate measurement of liquid volumes. Air entry which causes inaccurate measurements can be avoided through the flow meter which is sited upstream from the solenoid valve. The flow meter's output are pulses wherein the number of pulses are equivalent to flow rate or volume. Various measuring ranges can be achieved depending of the orifice being used.
