The Ashcroft Type 1084 is a unit that works well for all sorts of inspections on a local site. This is designed with a Bourdon tube and socket body made with Type 316 stainless steel and a welded body to make it active and useful. The 3" dial size and stainless steel body with Teflon coating and pinion gear have an adjustable point with a red-painted tip and use an aluminum dial with a polished mirror band.It is accurate at up to 0.5% and uses a Grade 2A body. The reader is also aligned to a knife-edge tip pointer that is adjusted with its reflection on a mirror band on a dial. The body will keep the unit active and functional in all situations.
