The Fluke 9640A RF Reference Source represents an excellent solution specifically designed for use in metrology applications as it provides a combination of level accuracy, 4 GHZ frequency and dynamic range. It can easily replace many standard devices used in RF calibration such as the level generator, power meter and sensors, and a signal generator. As it combines all of these instruments in a single unit the 9640A offers considerable savings on both resources and time, enabling a highly efficient operation in addition to excellent performance. Additionally the 9640A-LPN model expands the mentioned capabilities even further as it provides low phase noise capability and includes the Agilent PSA series and Rohde & Schwarz FSU series of spectrum analyzers.
