Ground fault indicator - E-Scout FI-3C
The E-Scout FI-3C is a ground fault indicator manufactured by Smart Grid Solutions. This fault indicator is designed to be used on underground systems. It features a robust design and it can be customized by end-users. Moreover, it requires easy installation and complies with the standards of IEEE 485 as well as the ISO-9001.Once fault is identified by its system, a line of indicators will flash along the feeder line. The operator then will follow the track of the flashing fault indicators until they reach the fault indicator that is not flashing. The location of that indicator is considered the place of the fault.
