The RCMA420 are a series of AC/DC reactive waste current monitor systems where easy DC error or waste current are consistently higher than zero. This can happen in specific load consisting six-pulse correctioners or single way correctioner with smoothing like converters, battery chargers, building site tools with frequency-regulated drives.

The pre-indication stage permits to differentiate across pre-indication and alarm. The tool almost relies on the load current as well as the minimum voltage of the system owing to the fact that the values are evaluated using current transformer.
