The Optisys TUR 1050 turbidity measuring unit measures units based on the ISO 7027 and US EPA 180 standards and uses many liquid calibration setups. The ultrasonic cleaner prevents the user from having to maintain the unit more than is necessary. The 90-degree scattered light setup will scan liquid samples in glass cuvettes.

The measurements will not be exposed to samples, thus reducing the necessary maintenance needs. The cuvette may be replaced later on and can be re-calibrated as needed. The automatic cleaner will keep deposits from building up within the cuvette wall, thus increasing the service intervals in the device.

The Turbidity System 4670 comprises a wall-mount instrument together with one of a number of sensors to provide complete solution for drinking water processing, process water and sewage treatment processes. It ranges between 0 to 1 NTU and up to 250 NTU and 2,000 FTU. Simple maintenance and operator safety is ensured using the ABB dry standard calibration method and eliminates the use of toxic formazine. Ultra-low back-scatter enables true zero settings and ensures accurate and reliable results. Configurable Auto-Cleaning optimizes performance and reduces maintenance. On-line diagnostic of auto-cleaning function provides assurance of performance. It has IP66/NEMA 4X ingress protection.
