Be it frequent or occasional use, 6200 series of bomb calorimeter from Parr provides reliable, repeatable and accurate calorific value determination. Operating on isoperibol technique, it features the signature Parr 1108 series oxygen bomb and a oval bucket. The console comprises a compact cabinet hosting a insulated water jacket with electric heater, temperature control, and auto-circulation system, and houses the oxygen bomb and oval bucket. All systems in the cabinet are controlled using microprocessor-based controller that provides the automatic charging of the bomb with oxygen and temperature control using precise electronic thermometer. However, refilling in 6200 is done manually, wherein an operator removes both the bomb and bucket and feeds the sample for each test, unlike the 6400 series.
