The Helios is a femtosecond transient absorption spectrometer engineered by Leukos. It is suitable for use in various applications like photophysics, photochemistry, photobiology, cell biology, materials science, nano-science, and transient spectrometry.The spectrometer features a wavelength range of 350 to 1600 nm, available in 3 configurations of 350 to 750 nm, 450 to 800 nm, or 800 to 1600 nm. It has a visible spectral resolution of 1.5 nm, and 3.5 nm. In addition, the unit has a time window of 3.3 ns, and an intrinsic time resolution of 7 fs.
The equipment offers continuous temporal coverage from femtoseconds to seconds when integrated with EOS. The Helios is controlled by a computer, and provides Multi-kilohertz acquisition rates.
