If an application requires measurement of chlorite concentration in water, this item is useful. Chlorite can be generated as byproduct to water treatment, using chlorine dioxide. In addition to this, analysis of chlorite has to be performed as a matter of routine work in various countries.In terms of the determination methods to be used, there are various laboratory methods that could be considered, including ion chromatography. However, the high operating costs and investments make most of these methods unsuitable. On the other hand, when it comes to this unit, an important advantage is that the determination value is available days or even hours after taking the samples.
