The RAPID or Remote Air Pollution Infrared Detector is a dependable and resilient stand-off detector that has the capability to automatically identify, observe and detect all known Chemical Warfare Agents (CWA) as well as important Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs) at distances up to 5 kilometers.The RAPID is an independent, featherweight self contained system that can be easily installed on ships, helicopters in addition to vehicles. It utilizes Brukers proven RockSolid™ flex-pivot interferometer and can function while static or on the move without disrupting its performance. Two or more RAPIDs can be used for cloud positioning via bespoke CPS software.
