This Compact Picking System (CPS) showcases a perfect goods-to-man concept and is perfectly suited to move products slowly in wholesale distribution and retail centers. It is an excellent addition to components and parts distribution centers that house a large product portfolio and hence have demanding service level needs. PICK@EASE is the core element of this Compact Picking System and is a user friendly order picking workstation. These newly designed workstations allow operators to achieve ergonomic order picking performance over a period of time. In terms of numbers, this translates to up to 1000 order lines for each operator per hour, while eradicating the risk of work related injury. The automated retrieval and storage system also known as QUICKSTORE makes it relatively simple to retrieve and or store product notes. These systems are appointed with the Vision Warehouse Management System (WMS) and their design helps them capitalize on floor space.
