The new 'Liebherr Power Efficiency' (LPE) system is responsible for achieving up to 8% of this fuel advantage.LPE is able to reduce component wear and fuel consumption by intelligent management of the individual units, taking into account all the engine map characteristics and parameters and with the engine management under pro-active control. The performance profile required by the operator is recognized by LPE which puts it into action in the most efficient way possible and with maximum performance output. Tire wear is reduced by up to 25% while the service brake has virtually no wear due to the Liebharr travel drive.
