NTP server Network Time Protocol - TCA8500
Juniper Networks Juniper TCA8500 Timing Server is used as a PRS (Primary Reference Source) or a PRC (Primary Reference Clock) accepting GPS signals from multiple antennas. It also serves as an IEEE1588-2008 (PTP) grandmaster clock delivering PTP packets across IP networks.

TCA8500 employs the reliable Precision Timing Protocol (PTP) technology, implements hardware timestamping, and gives wirespeed PTP with unrivalled precision. It also ensures vulnerability to Denial of Service (DoS) attacks is decreased.

In case of any interruption in the GPS direct connection, local Rubidium oscillator maintains Stratum 2 synchronization.
